Our traditional Japanese sake sets (shuki) are ideal for small home parties and other special occasions. Each set includes a flask (tokkuri) and cups (ochoko).

Historically, ceramic flasks were widely used to store sake, soy sauce, oil, and other liquids before glass bottles and plastic containers became popular. Even today, ceramic tokkuri are often preferred as they do not adversely affect the flavor.

Our pieces come in a variety of shapes with styles ranging from elaborate patterns to rustic minimalism.

Sets designed for serving heated sake are typically made from ceramics and are thicker to offer insulation to protect the user from the heat. They are quite popular in winter.

Sets for serving room temperature or cooled sake tend to be thinner and use glass or wood. They are typically used more often during the warmer months.
